Cookies and browsing signals
Custom notice for bewe v3 · version 2026-10-11.1 · 11 October 2026
How this page works
bewe is an adaptive interface experiment. Only if you accept do we observe behavior on this page to evaluate which prepared content to suggest. Consent is the basis for this optional feature. Before you choose and after you decline, the engine stays off: the introduction and optional email form remain available.
Signals we observe
Clicks on controls, content choices, scrolling, pauses, returns, sections shown and exposure time. The interest selected in the form and the submission outcome may also be included. We do not send your name, email address or form consent to Jev. We do not use advertising identifiers or a persistent visitor ID to link separate visits. These measures reduce identifiability but do not guarantee complete anonymity.
Where data goes
The browser sends a summary to the bewe server, which forwards it and page context to the Jev API, provided by TypeSafe AI, Inc. The model returns judgments; the page decides how to present them. Mock mode and budget limits use simulated responses on the server. The v3 has no external advertising or analytics tools; fonts are also served by this site.
Technical storage for your choice
We use localStorage, key bewe-consenso-v1, to remember acceptance or refusal, date and notice version for 180 days. This is technical preference storage, not an advertising cookie. If localStorage is unavailable we try sessionStorage, limited to the tab session. If both are blocked, tracking stays off. The v3 sets no other cookies through its own code.
Duration and technical data
Visit signals remain in page memory and are reset on reload. The application does not save behavioral history to disk; it stores aggregate cost and call counters. The server processes IP addresses to serve requests and limit abuse, using counters in process memory. Hosting logs and retention must be specified before final publication. The engine activity time shown on the page is not the provider’s retention period.
TypeSafe and transfers
TypeSafe states that its services are hosted in the United States. Retention, subprocessors and contractual safeguards depend on the applicable provider agreements: we do not claim zero retention or guaranteed anonymization. The controller must verify account terms and any transfer safeguards before final publication.
Email is a separate choice
The form is optional and works even if you decline tracking. Only on submission do we collect email, selected interest, consent, date and waiting-list purpose in a separate server archive. Your cookie choice does not sign you up. The current prototype does not automatically delete this archive: the controller must define its retention period and deletion-request process before public collection.
Changing your mind
Cookie settings in the footer always reopens the banner. You can decline after accepting: we stop new requests and reload the page to clear local history. This cannot recall data already sent. The choice is remembered in your browser across the Italian and English versions. If purposes or recipients change, we will update the notice and choice version before activating new processing.
Controller and rights
The controller is Gianclaudio Spena, Via Mariano Stabile 43, Palermo, Italy, VAT number IT02936750849. Privacy contact: info@gianclaudiospena.it. Certified email (PEC): gianclaudio.spena@pec.it. Where applicable, you can request access, rectification, deletion, restriction and portability, withdraw consent and complain to the Italian data protection authority. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
