Who handles your data

The controller for bewe is Gianclaudio Spena, Via Mariano Stabile 43, Palermo, Italy, VAT number IT02936750849. Privacy contact: info@gianclaudiospena.it. Certified email (PEC): gianclaudio.spena@pec.it. Use these contacts to exercise your rights or request removal from the waiting list.

Email and waiting list

When you submit a form, we collect your email, selected interest (pilot landing page, campaigns or updates), consent, date, a record identifier and the waiting-list purpose. We use these to manage your registration and contact you about your selected interest. The legal basis is consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), given through the form checkbox. The form is optional: without email and consent we cannot register you, but you can visit the page. Tracking consent is separate and is not required to submit the form. In mock mode submissions are simulated and your email is not saved.

Adaptive navigation with Jev

Only after you accept the banner do we observe clicks, scrolling, pauses, returns, displayed sections and their exposure, content choices and interactions with controls. The summary may include the selected interest and form submission outcome, but excludes your email and the form consent. The purpose is to adapt the journey on this page, based on your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). Our server forwards the summary and page context to TypeSafe’s Jev API. We do not promise complete anonymity: excluding an email does not rule out every possibility of identification.

What the system decides

Jev evaluates the information need, a possible next section, strength of evidence and response to suggestions. The page uses these judgments to display prepared content. They are hypotheses about behaviour, not certainties about a person. This adaptation does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Simulated responses (mock mode or spending limit) use server-side rules. If you decline, the introduction and email form remain available.

Technical data and preferences

The server receives connection data, including the IP address, also used to limit abusive requests. The proposed basis for service security is the controller’s legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), to be documented before publication. The code keeps abuse-prevention counters in process memory and does not add the IP address to email records. Hosting and proxies may produce their own logs: provider, data and retention are to be confirmed. Your banner choice is remembered in the browser for 180 days. See the cookie notice. The v3 page has no integrated advertising tools; fonts are hosted on this site.

Recipients and transfers

Emails are saved on bewe’s server separately from behavioural signals; the current code does not forward them to Jev or newsletter platforms. The controller and authorised people managing requests may access them. The hosting provider and its role are to be specified. TypeSafe AI, Inc. receives the adaptive-experience summaries. Its DPA describes TypeSafe as a processor and provides standard contractual clauses for EU transfers to third countries. Before publication, applicability to the account, locations, subprocessors and actual safeguards must be checked. We do not claim these steps are already complete. See the TypeSafe DPA and privacy policy.

Retention

The visit history stays in page memory and resets on reload. Application code does not archive it to disk; it saves aggregate call and cost counters. Email records are persistent and do not yet have automatic deletion: a maximum retention period and deletion procedure must be defined before public collection. Logs and backups also need retention periods set by the controller. Local deletion does not erase data already received by the provider. TypeSafe’s DPA ties retention to processing needs, without a single period in days; applicable account terms must be checked. The visible Jev timer is not a retention period.

Your choices and rights

Withdraw navigation consent through Cookie settings in the footer, and waiting-list consent by contacting the controller. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Where applicable, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may complain to the Italian data protection authority or the competent supervisory authority. You can write to the privacy contact in the first section.

Updates

This notice covers the current bewe v3 prototype. New tools, purposes or recipients require an update before activation and, where needed, a new choice. Legal reference: Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
